FSCC issues casting call for 'Yankees'

Fort Scott Community College will conduct auditions for its spring production of "Damn Yankees" at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31 and at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1 in the theater of the Danny and Willa Ellis Family Fine Arts Center, 2108 S. Horton St. The auditions are open to the community. The musical is based on the Faust legend. The story takes place during the 1950s in Washington, D.C., at a time when the New York Yankees dominated baseball. Performances will take place April 23-25.
