Pesticide applicator training sessions coming soon to Nevada, Butler

Anyone who plans to apply pesticides to their property is required to take a one-day training course before doing so. The University of Missouri Extension is offering a course in private pesticide applicator training four times, in Butter, Nevada and Osceola between Feb. 16 and March 9.

Reservations are required and attendees must purchase a manual that accompanies the class for $15.

The dates for the courses are: Feb. 16, 1 p.m., Bates County Health Department, 501 North Orange, Butler; Feb. 6 p.m., Bowman Building Service Edge Cafe, 2015 North West Street, Nevada; Feb. 22, 10 a.m., Methodist Church, Hospital Hill, Osceola; March 9, 10 a.m. Bowman Building, Service Edge Cafe, 2015 North West Street, Nevada.
