Nancy was born and raised in Kansas City, Mo. She attended Rosedale High School. She moved to Osceola, Mo., in 1961, where she met her husband Dennis. Nancy was a homemaker, mother, and grandmother. Between El Dorado Springs and Nevada, she had lived in this area for the past 30 years. She enjoyed playing bingo, sci-fi movies, and her dog Precious whom she had just recently lost.
Survivors include one daughter Tina Johnson, Nevada; two sons, Steven Ferguson, Joplin, Mo., and Erik Ferguson, El Dorado Springs, Mo.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Wayne Johnson, Kansas City, Kan., Robert Johnson, of the state of Missouri, and John Johnson, Bonner Springs, Kan.; and two sisters, Diane West, Kansas City, Kan., and Helen Swadley, of the state of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse; one son, Dennis Ferguson Jr.; three brothers, Frank Johnson Jr., David Johnson, and Dennis Johnson; one sister Shirley Konkel; and one infant sister, Edith Johnson.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., on Monday, Dec. 14, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home.
