ANNA MAYME POTTER WOLF

Anna Mayme Potter Wolf, age 95, a resident of Deerfield, Mo., went to be with the Lord, Dec. 8, 2009, at the Medicalodge in Fort Scott, Kan.

She was born Feb. 23, 1914, in Deerfield, Mo., the daughter of Lewllyn and Lilla Wiles Potter.

She found Christ as her Savior in her teens and was a faithful follower her entire life.

She married Merle D. Wolf on Nov. 21, 1933, at Platt City, Mo.

She graduated with the first LPN class of Fort Scott Junior College and worked in the nursing profession for a number of years.

She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and was attending the United Methodist Church in Redfield until shortly before her death.

She is survived by three sons and their wives, Dr. David Merle Wolf, Deerfield, Mo., Nathan Lewllyn Wolf, Kansas City, Kan., and Garen Lane Wolf, Cincinnati, Ohio; and a daughter and her husband, Virginia Marie Crooks, Kansas City, Kan.

Also surviving are a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers.

Rev. Dr. Thomas Tinker and Rev. Joel Dunn will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, in the Cheney Witt Memorial Chapel.

Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Cheney Witt Chapel.

Memorials are suggested to the Merle and Anna Wolf Music Scholarship at God's Bible School in Cincinnati, Ohio and may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Memorial Chapel, 201 S. Main, P.O. Box 347, Fort Scott, Kan., 66701.
