Fort Scott Director of Human Resources Robert Johnson holds back his tears while giving a speech during a reception held Wednesday afternoon at the Hawkins Public Safety Facility. The reception was to celebrate Johnson, whose position was eliminated by request of the Fort Scott City Commission to save money. The reception was hosted by the Fort Scott Police and Fire Departments. Johnson is holding a plaque which was given to him on behalf of the FSPD for serving as interim Director of Public Safety twice during his more than 16 years with the city. Johnson's last day is Friday.

So long Bob

I hope the city admin takes this revenue situation seriously or was this a vindictive move on Susans part, if not I hope that they take aleast a 15 or maybe a 20 percent pay cut to help out

Sorry to see him go but they need to get rid of the codes officer Amanda. She has torn down more houses than any codes officer we have had and she lies. She should try to work with the people not turn them against her. And if you are not friends with her friends she will be on you for everything.
