Fort Scott Middle School student Kelsey Stanley receives an H1N1 flu vaccine Wednesday morning from Southeast Kansas Multi-County Health Department Public Health Nurse Alice Maffett. Maffett and two others were at FSMS to administer the vaccine to students with their parent's permission. Vaccinations will be offered Thursday at Fort Scott High School and Uniontown High School which will complete the department's goal to get vaccinations in all the schools in Bourbon County. Maffett said only one-fourth of the student bodies have participated in receiving the vaccine.
