Families look forward to visits over Thanksgiving

Tony Allen and his three children spent the weekend recently with Ron and Leah Lewis. They all enjoyed visiting with Marjorie Lewis on Sunday.

As a treat for her birthday, Joe and Shirley White enjoyed the Trolley Ghost Ride.

Linda Center enjoyed visiting with Joyce Worcester Oct. 19-21.

They met in Kansas City on the 19th and enjoyed shopping in the afternoon, and enroute to Joyce's home in Hiawatha, they visited with Joyce's son, Paul and Cherri Walrod and children in Eudora, Kan. They enjoyed shopping in St. Joseph, Mo., the 20th, and spent the night in Overland Park, and came home the next day.

In honor of classmates of 1960 having birthdays, Patty and Daryl Coleman hosted a cook out. Joe and Shirley White were among the guests.

David and Sheila Blubaugh, and Dale and Patty Smilie enjoyed spending a weekend with their children, Ethan and Amanda Smilie at their home in Irving, Texas.

Joe and Shirley White attended the 50th wedding anniversary reception in honor of Lyle and Connie Hoener, at the Hammond Community Center.

The Youth and Calvary Class of the Grace Baptist Tabernacle enjoyed a fellowship after the Sunday evening service, Nov. 8.

Joe and Shirley White attended their great grandson, Lucas Clark's second birthday.

Frank Hereford, June Hereford, Scott, Kacy, James and Linda Center attended the graveside services for their cousin, Bob Hamngton, at the National Cemetery, Friday afternoon, Nov. 13. Bob was a resident of Paola. He passed away on Nov. 1.

Joe and Shirley White traveled to Kansas City Nov. 10 and 11, for doctor's appointments.

The Joy Class of Grace Baptist Tabernacle enjoyed eating at J J's Bar-B-q in Blue Mound, Kan., Saturday evening, Nov. 14.

Nov. 12, Debbie Gentry and Tara Anderson both of Independence, Mo., visited with her parents, Joe and Shirley White, her sister, Susan White, and attended the funeral of Dwayne Craig. Debbie stayed with her parents through the 15th, and visited her family.

Beverly Peel spent the weekend of Nov.13-15 in Branson, Mo.

Ron and Leah Lewis brought supper and ate with his mother, Marjorie Lewis, Saturday, Nov. 14.

Nov. 13, Bob and Linda McBride, Debbie Gentry, Joe and Shirley White enjoyed dinner at Aunt Toadies.

Marjorie Lewis is looking forward to a visit with her granddaughter and great- granddaughter, Maureen and Piper, over the Thanksgiving Holiday.
