Navarro, 'Hounds keep top 2 spots; Blinn up to No. 3

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Unbeatens Navarro (Texas) and Fort Scott are again the top two teams in the latest edition of the NJCAA / JC Football.com rankings. Both teams won their respective conference semifinal contests this past weekend to advance in the postseason. Navarro received 139 total poll points this week and six of seven first place votes while Fort Scott tallied 134 poll points and one first place vote.

Blinn moves up one spot to No. 3 this weekend after the Buccaneers defeated Tyler in the Southwest Junior College Football Conference playoffs Saturday. They will face Navarro for the second time in three weeks in Sunday's SWJCFC Championship Game. Navarro won the first meeting, 23-20.

Snow broke out of a tie with Grand Rapids (Mich.) to move up to No. 4. Grand Rapids, now No. 5, is the only other undefeated team in the country.

East Mississippi moved up to No. 6 after beating then-No. 3 Mississippi Gulf Coast, 75-71, last week in the Mississippi championship game.

Butler moved up one spot to No. 7, tied with Arizona Western.
