Texas Hold 'em tournament Saturday

A Texas Hold 'em Tournament benefitting cancer research is slated for 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 7, at the American Legion Post No. 2. Sponsored by the Ramey Relay for Life Team and the American Legion, a $20 entry fee will be charged with $10 going to the American Cancer Society and the other $10 going to the cash prizes to the top four competitors. Prizes will be determined by the number of participants, and door prizes donated by local businesses also will be awarded.

Seating is limited, so preregistration, either at the American Legion Post, 402 E. Cherry, Nevada, or at the service desk at Ramey's supermarket, is recommended.
