| Several people, including USD 234 officials and staff, representatives of the Southeast Kansas Community Action Program (SEK-CAP), Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce members and other area residents attended a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday at the Fort Scott Preschool Center, which is located in the annex behind the former middle school building. Two district preschool programs, along with the new SEK-CAP Head Start program, began operation this school year in the annex. The three preschool programs are part of the new Fort Scott Preschool Center. |
