Tiger soccer gains 2-0 win at Riverton

RIVERTON -- Fort Scott High School's soccer team posted a 2-0 victory over Riverton in a non-league soccer match here Monday.

Max McAllister scored a first-half goal for the Tigers while Matt Scharenberg scored in the second half.

Garret Baugher and Jason Trejo combined for the shutout as each played goalkeeper for a half.

The Tigers (6-5) are set to play Columbus in a Southeast Kansas League match at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Ellis Park.
