According to Youth Activities Team Co-convener Clayton Tatro, YAT wanted to help local vendors make some money as well. Those local food and drink vendors include a Shriner's Beer Tent, Phat Brothers B-B-Q, Scottish Rite, Elk's, V.F.W. Men's Auxiliary, Generator, Kiwanis, Washington W.S, Bob's Dogs, and Opies/Taco Tico.
Tatro said 1,450 tickets have been sold thus far. He added, if anyone has purchased tickets and have not received them in the mail to contact him at Fort Scott Community College (620) 223-2700 or Diana Mitchell at The Eye Center of Fort Scott (620) 223-6440. The Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce is selling the tickets but is not in control of the mailing of the tickets. Tatro said they have mailed all tickets which were purchased prior to Sept. 22.
Tickets are available for $25 at the Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce or at www.yatfortscott.com. Tickets will be available at the gate for $35.
