The following will be closed or marked for no parking from 7 a.m. to midnight on Nov. 7:

* Holbrook Street from 19th to 21st streets - closed

* 21st Street from Huntington Boulevard to Eddy Street - closed

* Eddy Street from 19th to 21st streets - closed and designated as VIP and handicap access only

* Horton Street from 18th Street to the Country Club - marked no parking, however parking will be allowed on the grass median

* 18th Street from Horton Street to National Avenue - marked no parking

* Holbrook Street from 18th to 19th streets - marked no parking

* Eddy Street from 18th to 19th streets - marked no parking

* 19th Street from Horton Street to US Highway 69 - marked no parking

Tatro said YAT has been in contact with Fort Scott Public Works, Fort Scott Police Department, and the Bourbon County Sheriff's Office regarding the placement of signs and the enforcement.

All residents in the area have been notified of the actions and will be allowed to access the closed streets in order to access their homes.

"We will make sure that it is no more of an inconvenience to residents than it needs to be," Tatro said.

Well, we know where folks CAN'T park now...where will it be allowed? Looks like you can maybe get space at Wal-Mart (if you get there early) and walk a mile.
