Willard Lee Palmer, 84, died Sept. 6, 2009.
Visitation with family will be from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, with the funeral service at 11 a.m., Friday, both at Broadway Mortuary Chapel, Wichita, Kan.
Burial will follow at 3:30 pm at Centerville Cemetery in Devon, Kan.
Willard worked many years in the aircraft industry.
He was also actively involved in square dance calling and as a college instructor.
He was preceded in death by his son, Vern Palmer; daughter, Carolyn Staudacher and grandchildren, Teresa Bibb and Hunter Hughbanks.
Survivors include his wife, Isabell; daughters, Linda McGovern of Long Beach, Miss., Evelyn Mast of Wichita and Patty Palmer of Broken Arrow, Okla.; brothers, Glenn Palmer of Wichita and Lawrence Palmer of Emporia; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
