Louisburg bounces Tigers in soccer opener

LOUISBURG -- Chris McAllister scored Fort Scott High's only goal here Tuesday as host Louisburg bounced the Tigers 8-1 in a non-league contest.

Crosswhite and Wilson scored two goals each for the Wildcats, who improved to 1-1 on the season.

No other details were available from this game.

Fort Scott plays its home opener at Ellis Park at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. Defending Southeast Kansas League champion Independence, which has won at least a share of ever title, will visit.
