USD 234 conducting preschool screenings Sept. 11

USD 234 personnel will conduct preschool screenings for children up to 5 years of age on Friday, Sept. 11.

Children may have vision, hearing, speech and communication, motor skills, socialization skills, and general development screened.

The purpose of the screenings is to locate and identify children with possible developmental delays who may need special education preschool and/or related services.

Appointments may be scheduled by calling Darlinda Harris at the Fort Scott Preschool Center, (620) 223-8965, between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. The deadline for scheduling an appointment is Friday, Sept. 4
