Gary Dean Frydendall, 72, of Pleasanton, Kan., died Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009 at the Veterans Hospital, Kansas City, Mo.

Memorial graveside and inurnment will be held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009 at the National Cemetery, Fort Scott, Kan.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
