MURPHY -- Patrick and Jaymie Murphy, Walnut, and sister McKenzie, are proud to announce the birth of their son and brother, Ryan Patrick Murphy.

Ryan was born at 10:25 a.m., Aug. 31, 2009 at Mercy Health Center in Fort Scott. He weighed 7 pounds at birth.

Maternal grandparents are Jay and Julie Leek, Fort Scott; Eldon and Joan Crane, Fort Scott; and Wayne and Dorthy Leek, Fort Scott.

Paternal grandparents are Pat and Janet Murphy, Fort Scott; and Wanda and Tom Haley, Nevada, Mo.
