City Commissioner quorum could be present at Riverfront Authority meeting

Diane Clay, Fort Scott City Clerk, released an announcement earlier this week that more than a majority of a quorum of the Fort Scott City Commission may attend the Fort Scott/Bourbon County Riverfront Authority meeting scheduled for Monday on the campus of Fort Scott Community College, 2108 S. Horton.

The meeting will begin at 5:15 p.m. in the Gordon Parks Center-DuBoc Room of the Danny and Willa Ellis Family Fine Arts Center. it is expected to conclude around 6:15 p.m. The Riverfront Authority is a public body and proceedings are open to the public.

Although a majority of a quorum, or more, of the City Commissioners may be present at this meeting, no business will be conducted by the City Commission.
