Chrisi and Michael Shead

Chrisi Playford and Michael Shead were married on July 11, 2009, in Grandville, Mich. The ceremony took place at Resurrection Life Church where Michael is employed. Those attending from the local area were: Mary V. Shead, grandmother of the groom, Arcadia, Kan.; Larry and Vickie Shead, parents of the groom, Garland, Kan.; Mark, Haley, and Katherine Shead, brother of the groom and family, Fort Scott.

Others attending from this area were the uncle and aunt of the groom, Ralph and Cindy Shead, of Carl Junction, Mo.; a cousin of the groom, Matthew Shead and wife Ashley, of Joplin, Mo.; sister of the groom, Maria Shead, of Tulsa, Okla.; and sister of the groom, Mitzi Ray and husband Joel and their children, Cademon and Atalie.

Michael Shead is a former reporter for the Fort Scott Tribune, who now does photography and journalism for the Resurrection Life Church. Chrisi has recently completed her education in nursing and is employed by a local health care facility.

The couple are making their home in Byron Center, Mich., after a honeymoon in Mexico.
