Wanda LaBelle, age 58, resident of Marion, Kansas, died Thursday, July 30, 2009, at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

She was born July 2, 1951, in Abilene, Kansas the daughter of Benjamin Paul Schneider and Eutalah Lashell Schneider.

Wanda had been employed as an LPN for 25 years. She was working on her RN degree.

She was a member of the Saint Joseph Catholic Church in McPherson, Kansas.

Survivors include her husband, James, of the home in Marion; one son, Kevin LaBelle, Eldorado, Kansas; one daughter, Tina Marie Boley and husband Ed, Wichita; one sister, Wilma Rauscher; three brothers, Charles Schneider, Walter Schneider, and David Schneider.

Also surviving are 12 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, James R. LaBelle Jr. and a brother, Carl Schneider.

Father Nick Voelter will resite the Rosary at 7 p.m. Monday at the Saint Joseph Catholic Church in McPherson, Kansas.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church in McPherson.

Father Darrin May will conduct graveside services at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Fort Scott.

All services are under the direction of Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main, Fort Scott, Kansas.
