Frances Mae Trask, age 89, resident of Bronson, Kansas, died Saturday, June 6, 2009, at the Moran Manor Nursing Home.

She was born April 13, 1920, in Concordia, Missouri, the daughter of Emmett Barker and Ida Ring Barker.

Frances first married James McMullen on June 4, 1936, and they were later divorced.

She married Louie D. Johnson on December 13, 1947, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 1968.

She later married Arthur Trask on Oct, 2, 1970, and he preceded her in death on June 28, 1999.

Frances was a retired registered nurse from St. Mary's Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

She was a member of the Uniontown Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by one sister, Nan Newman, Humboldt, Kansas, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by one infant son and one infant daughter; two brothers, Calvin Barker and Emory Barker; two sisters, Maxine Leutjen and Beulah Ball; and two nephews, Tony Newman and Ronnie Newman.

Pastor Rusty Newman will conduct graveside services at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at the Bronson Cemetery.

Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.

Services are under the direction of the Cheney Witt Bronson Chapel, Bronson, Kansas.
