She was born June 18, 1926, in Hepler, Kan., the daughter of Andrew Joseph Heckman and Mae Dunbar Heckman.
She married Kenneth Lewis Judd Sr. on June 18, 1945, at Girard, Kan. He preceded her in death on May 13, 1985.
Elizabeth loved to read, work crossword puzzles, and watch birds.
She collected stuffed animals and bells.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth L. Judd Jr., Bronson, Kansas, and Gary C. Judd, Redfield; two daughters, Lavon Kent and husband Malcolm, Fort Scott, and Patricia Heckman and husband William, Bronson. Also surviving are four brothers: Ether Spencer, Girard, Kan.; Andy Heckman of Texas; William Heckman, Bronson; and Jim Heckman of California; two sisters, Thelma Koons, Huntington Beach, California and Francis Tewell, Girard; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Verland Judd; two daughters, Sharon Judd and Linda Hutchison; and one brother, Newton Spencer.
Pastor Chub Bolling will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m., Friday in the Cheney Witt Chapel.
Burial will follow in U. S. National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
