Survivors include four sons, Leland "John" Bolden, and William "Bill" Fountain, both of Fort Scott, Kansas, Richard Fountain, Joplin, Missouri, and Randy Fountain, Manhattan, Kansas; three daughters, Naomi Hull, Myrtle Hull, and Patty Hathaway, all of Fort Scott. Also surviving are seventeen grandchildren and thirty-five great-grandchildren, two great-great-granddaughters; and a son-in-law, Archie Lewis, Salina, Kansas. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Thelma Lewis; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Fountain, a grandson, Jeff Fountain; five brothers, Lee Ryan, Charles Bolden, Donald Bolden, Art Bolden and Loren Bolden; and five sisters, Rosalie Bolden, Goldie Bolden, Hazel McReynolds, Dorothy Feagins and Betty Durossette.
Rev. Daryl Gaddy and Rev. Steve Bell will conduct funeral services at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 16, 2009, at the Cheney Witt Chapel. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the Cheney Witt Chapel.
