Newman -- 50 years

E.J. and Kay Newman, of Carthage, Mo., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on March 29, 2009.

E.J. and the former Kay Youngblood were married March 29, 1959, at the Church of the Nazarene, Carthage, Mo.

The Newmans are parents of one daughter, Gayle, and two grandchildren.
