Jackson pinned his first three opponents: David Green of Central Heights, Matt Riebel of Iola and Greg York of Coffeyville. In the finals, he beat Marcus Ferguson of Anderson County, 5-1.
"Caleb Jackson is wrestling very well right and very easily could be undefeated," Jayhawk head coach Brett Kramer said. "Saturday Caleb continued with his winning ways. He was very dominant in his four matches and in finals, he was in control of the whole match and was really never in danger of losing. He wrestled very smart with the lead."
Alan Johnson placed fifth at 215 pounds for Jayhawk-Linn. He pinned Jesse Courter of Oskaloosa and Vince Ryburn of Wellsville. Then he lost to Auston Sommer of Eskridge-Mission Valley, 3-2, and Gus Allen of Howard-West Elk, 10-7. He beat Ryburn in a rematch for fifth.
Jared Avery was sixth at 145. He pinned Jordan Slater of DeSoto, lost by technical fall to Jesse Tillman of Wellsville then beat Tate McCoy of Eureka by a 9-7 score and Adam Vogts of Erie by technical fall. In his last two matches, Avery was pinned by Prairie View's Ty Page and lost to Rock Creek's Justin Weers.
