LARRY M. PRATHER

Larry M. Prather, 60, of Fort Scott, died early Tuesday morning, Dec. 30, 2008 in Kansas City at the KU Medical Center.

He was born on September 7, 1948 in Fort Scott, the son of Charles Morgan and Mildred Louise (Goddard) Prather.

Larry is survived by a son, Fred Prather and two grandchildren, all of Fort Scott. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Rev. Chub Boling will conduct funeral services for Larry Prather, 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 8, 2009 at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Fort Scott National Cemetery, with Olson, Frary, Burkhart Post 1165 V.F.W. providing Military Honors.

The Family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009 at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home.
