County sets dates, locations regarding recycling program

The dates and location of the Bourbon County Recycling Program trailers have been set.

On January 3 trailers will be located at Walmart, 2501 S Main, and the east side of the square in Uniontown. On Jan. 10 the trailers will be located at the Ash Craft Memorial Library in Mapleton. On Jan. 17 the trailers will return to Fort Scott at the intersections of North National and Old Fort Blvd. On Jan. 24 the trailers will be located at the Fire Station in Bronson. On Jan. 31 the trailers will move to the Fulton City Hall. Trailers will be available at all locations from 8 a.m. to noon.

Residents are encouraged to bring items such as newspapers, milk jugs, pop bottles, cleaned metal cans and glass products. General trash and cardboard are not accepted.
