Steven Richard Hoyt, 48, Hamilton, Mo., passed away at his home on Dec. 6, 2008. He was born on April 29, 1960 in Kansas City, Mo., to parents Jack and Louise (Sheehy) Hoyt. He married Debbie Stevenson and to this union two boys, David and Troy Hoyt of the home, were born.
Steven is preceded in death by his father, Jack Hoyt, paternal grandparents Charles and Pearl Hoyt of Rockville, Mo., and maternal grandparents Ed and Josephine Sheehy of Fort Scott.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie and sons David and Troy of the home, his mother Louise Gwin of Fort Scott, one brother, Mike Hoyt, Phoenix Ariz. and one niece Kendall Hoyt, Richmond, V.A. Steven has many aunts, uncles and cousins from this area. Darlene Murray, Fort Scott, Norma Page-Hoyt, Fort Scott, Kay Medick, Kansas City, Mo., and Cathy Sheehy, Kansas City, Kan.
Steven was a member of the Cameron Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Cameron, Mo.
Memorial services for Steven will be held on Saturday, Dec. 13, at the Cameron Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 924 N. Pine Street, Cameron, Mo., at 2 p.m.
There has been cremation.
