Annual 4-H banquet results, awards given to members
The annual 4-H Achievement Banquet was held Friday evening Nov. 7 to honor 4-H members for their achievements this past year. The annual event is hosted by the Bourbon County Farm Bureau and the meal is provided by donations from area businesses. Awards were given to approximately 175 4-H members and leaders. This years theme was "Go For the Gold with 4H."
Richard Dixon was honored with the Extension Appreciation award which is given annually for support of the Extension program.
The Fred and Doris Fink 4-H Scholarship was awarded to Amanda Brown.
Jan Beene awarded Fort Scott Community College 4-H Scholarships to: Brooke Combs, Jared Snyder and Holli Zellner.
