He was born Dec. 4, 1927, in Fort Scott, the son of Frank Proctor Sr. and Alvena Kruger Proctor.
He was a veteran of WWII, having served with the United States Army. Frank was twice married and later divorced. He was retired as a self employed truck driver. Frank was a member of the Community Christian Church. He loved to hunt and fish, and loved stock car racing. Prior to his last illness, he could be seen driving around Fort Scott sight seeing.
Survivors include two sons from his first marriage, Ronnie Proctor and Gary Proctor; from his second marriage, son David Proctor and wife Tina, Fort Scott; two daughters, Connie Aguilera and husband Patrick, Wichita, Kan. and Shirley Hurd and husband Rick, Fort Scott.
Also surviving are six grandchildren, Heather Proctor, Travis Proctor, Melanie Craft, Lisa Aguilera, Bill Hurd and Doug Hurd; and eight great-grandchildren.
Rev. Kevin Moyers will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Community Christian Church.
Burial will follow in Lath Branch Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by the Olson Frary Burkhart Post No. 1165 V.F.W.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Cheney Witt Chapel. Memorials are suggested to either Community Hospice or Fort Scott Manor Activity Fund and may be sent to Cheney Witt Chapel, P.O. Box 347, Fort Scott, Kan. 66701.
