Vicki Lyn Hawkins

Vicki Lyn Hawkins, age 46, resident of Fort Scott, Kansas died Friday, September 26, 2008, at Mercy Health Center Emergency Room following a brief illness. She was born December 7, 1961 in Butler, Missouri the daughter of Paul Hawkins and Edith Willard Hawkins. Vicki was a 1980 graduate of Fort Scott High School. She was currently employed at Wal-Mart. She attended Mt. Olive Church of God in Christ.

Survivors include her mother, Edith Hawkins, Fort Scott; a daughter, Aarika Hawkins, Fort Scott; brother, Marlon Hawkins, Fayetteville, Arkansas; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Also surviving is a special friend, James Deal. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Paul Hawkins.

Pastor Pete Pulliam will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m., Wednesday in the Cheney Witt Chapel.

Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
