Lisa Baughman and Donnie Hampton, of Independence, Kan., are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Kynlee Marie Hampton. Kynlee was born on Aug. 24, 2008, at Mercy Hospital, in Independence, Kan. She weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce.

Maternal grandparents are David Baughman, of Neodesha, Kan., and Carol Weemes, of Arlington, Texas.

Paternal grandparents are Kevin and Patty Tennison, of Fort Scott.
