Nevada City Council to discuss wayfinding signs

Nevada, Mo. -- In a regular meeting set for Tuesday, Sept. 2, in council chambers, located inside the city of Nevada's Public Safety Building at the corner of Ash and Austin, the Nevada City Council plans to discuss a request for authorization to bid a project at Twin Lakes ball complex, and a measure to finalize a contract to enable the posting of wayfinding signs.

Other items on the agenda include a proposed budget amendment for the installation of a fiber optic cable from the Nevada Public Safety Department to the Vernon County jail that is currently under construction.

The council also will hear from Pat Chambers and Earl Ackley about issues relating to the Vernon County Senior Center; and from Jhan Hurn, about community support services.
