Pittsburg State University recognizes students with Departmental Honors

Pittsburg State University would like to announce local graduates that have recently graduated with department honors. In order to graduate with department honors, a student must maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher and have a minimum of nine semester hours of course work in the student's major department taken.

Tanya Marie Brokob, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Gier, Hepler, graduate of nursing, received Departmental Academic Honors.

Dusty J. Peterson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Danny Peterson, Fort Scott, graduate of mathematics, and Megan Lee Rogers, daughter of Mr. Harold Roger, Fort Scott, graduate of Biology and Medical Technology, also graduated with Departmental Academic Honors.
