Schwartz -- 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Schwartz, of Sheldon, Mo., will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 24, 2008.

Larry Schwartz and the former Patricia "Patty" Houdeshell, of Richards, were married on Aug. 24, 1958, and have lived in the present area since 1964. Both are retired, listing hobbies or interests as old things for him and quilts and sewing for her.

The couple are the parents of two children, Guy Schwartz, Wyandotte, Okla., and Angie Stone, of Sheldon.
