Marion and Wanda Shrimpli

Marion and Wanda Shrimplin, of Nevada, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 10, 2008, with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. at the United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, hosted by Michael Shrimplin and Sondra Ogle.

Marion and the former Wanda Fae Harleman were married on Aug. 10, 1958, in the Moundville Methodist Church. The couple have two children and five grandchildren.

Marion retired from Henry Kraft Mercantile Co., after 40 years with the company as a salesman. Wanda retired from Myers Management in 2004. She was employed by Dahmer Electric for 13 years.
