Jennifer Marie Pippen and Burt William Hawkins, of Fort Scott are proud to announce the birth of their daughter KenDra Ann Hawkins. KenDra was born at 2:11 p.m., on July 22, 2008, at Mercy Health System, Fort Scott. She weighed 6 pounds.

Maternal grandparents are Melissa and Scott Pierce of Kansas City, Robert and Debbie Pippin, of Adrian, Kan., and the late Jim Pippin.

Paternal grandparents are Clessa Hawkins, of Fort Scott, Terry Hawkins, of Fort Scott, Mary Coulter, of Fort Scott, and the late Earl Coulter.
