SHORTSLEEVE -- Zachary Allen Shortsleeve, a boy, was born at Mercy Health Center in Fort Scott, at 1:49 p.m., Tuesday, June 24, 2008, to parents Gary and Gerl Shortsleeve, Pittsburg. He weighed 7 pounds, 13 1/2 ounces at birth. He joins siblings Ni'kya, Mackenzie, and Natalie. Maternal grandparents are Donna Hill, Roseland. Paternal grandparents are Gary Shortsleeve Sr., Burlington, Vt.
