Anna June Wilson, age 77, Fort Scott, Kan., passed away with her family at her side on June 24, 2008.

June was born June 29, 1930, in Hodgen, Okla., to Melbourne Kelly Spoon and Ted Spoon. She married Harold Perry on November 11, 1948.

She is survived by their six children, son, Roger Perry and wife Missy, San Antonio, Texas, daughter, Kathy Coley and husband Keith, Tulsa, Okla., daughter, Karen Autem, Bendena, Kan., son, Dale Perry and wife Pam, Wagoner, Okla., son, Ronnie Perry and wife Dina, Joplin, Mo. and daughter, Shelly Messer, Fort Scott, Kan.

She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Nick Perry, Lindsey Perry, Stephanie Oetjen and husband Scott, Alex and Spencer Autem. William and Nathan Perry, Kristian Hamrick, Josh Messer and wife Kari, and Drew Messer. She has four great-grandchildren, Perry and Ben Oetjen and Jadyn and Brady Messer.

June graduated from Blue Mound High School. She was a devoted mother, who served as Camp Fire Leader, 4-H Leader, Den Mother and Sunday School Teacher. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Chancel Choir. She was also a member of the Mercy Auxiliary and Community Choir.

Later in life, she married Wray Wilson on December 26,1981, and he preceded her in death on September 20, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her brother Donald Spoon.

Rev. Paul Babcock will conduct funeral services at lO:3O a.m., Saturday, at the First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, The family will receive friends at Cheney Witt Chapel from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday. Memorials are suggested to Mercy Auxiliary and may be sent to Cheney Witt Chapel, P.O. Box 347, Fort Scott, Kansas 66701.
