Minnie Watson Collins, 101 of Fort Scott, died at her home, Saturday, May 17, 2008. She was born in Fort Smith, Ark. on September 3, 1906 the daughter of George Wesley and Eva Brownie Robison Williams. She married Theodore Roosevelt Collins in Fort Smith, Ark. on March 13, 1925. He preceded her in death on March 11, 1994.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Maxine McDow and Emma Jean Allen both of Fort Scott, one son, Richard Theodore Collins of Belle Plaine, Kan., 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 31 great great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Ted, she was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Walter Wesley Collins.

Rev. Philip Wilson will conduct funeral services for Minnie Collins at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the First Church of God at Wall and Broadway, donations may be sent to or left in the care of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, 15 W. Wall St., P.O. Box 309, Fort Scott, Kan. 66701.
