Uniontown (5-6) led 7-2 after five innings, scoring twice in the first, three times in the third and twice again in the fourth.
Northeast (6-15), the No. 6 seed in the tournament, scored seven runs in the top of the sixth on eight hits and a walk.
Uniontown had runners on base in the sixth and seventh innings. But the Eagles ended up hitting into line-drive double plays each time.
Luke Spainhoward allowed 11 hits and three walks but also struck out 13. For the season, he struck out 68 batters in 37 innings, a rate of 1.8 strikeouts per inning. He only issued 16 walks.
Shawn Pritchett was four for four at the plate with a double and a triple. Ty Clayton had two hits and a stolen base.
"I am very proud of my boys and what they have accmplished," Uniontown head coach Chris Woods said of the school's first baseball team since the 1960s. "I am anxious for next season."
