The City of Fort Scott Fire Department will be flushing fire hydrants throughout the entire city starting Monday, May 12th. This project will take approximately three weeks to complete. Flushing will begin on the west side of town, and move to the east city limits. Residents may experience low water pressure or rusty colored water during this flushing process.
