The Military Bridge, which was condemned by the board of county commissioners a little while ago, has never been closed. Placards have been posted at either end of the structure stating that the bridge is unfit for travel. Despite this, however, teamsters drive over it each day. The bridge is in a rickety condition. Should be that if an extra heavily laden vehicle be driven upon it some, fear that it would collapse. Something should be done to place it in a safer condition than it is in now. An accident is liable to occur at any time in which the county might be sued for damages. Seven families have been deprived of rural mail delivery on account of the condition of this bridge.
