SEK Religion Bowl winners

The fifth grade class from St. Mary's Catholic School, won the Southeast Kansas Religion Bowl May 30 in Pittsburg. Teams of fifth and sixth grade students from area Catholic schools were tested on their knowledge of Catholic faith, according to St. Mary's Catholic school Principal Krista Gorman. (from left to right) Anthony Tirri, Matt Schick, St. Mary's Religion teacher Jill Gorman, Jaley Hoyt, Daniel Burgner and Adam Deloney. Each year, St. Mary's School has sent a fifth grade class to the religion bowl and they're still undefeated, according to Krista Gorman.
