The Bronson Ruritan club met April 28 at the Methodist Annex for their regular meeting with fourteen members and four guests. Pres. David Wilikins called the meeting to order with Julia Ann Rhoton leading the song "America" and Geri Reeder giving the prayer. The meal was prepared by Julia Ann Rhoton and Geri Reeder, Grace Smith furnished a salad. Lora Haleman, local veternarian, presented the programs on care of cattle and pets, and answered questions for everyone. Ed Carsted zone Gov. and wife Carolyn, and District Gov. Jim Kimble, talked of Ruritan events. Jim Kemble presented a gift to the 2007 President Leroy Fuhrman on his good work. The Bronson Club Blue Ribbon award was given to Pres. David for club work in 2007.
Objective meetings were called on. Bronson Day was discussed, tickets for $100, $50, and $25 are being sold for Bronson Day by the members. May 19 Board Meeting will meet half an hour before the regular meeting at the community center, with a potluck meal. The club will meet at 8 p.m.
