Mr. and Mrs. Carlton W. Seaver Jr. observed their 60th wedding anniversary on April 26, 2008.

Carlton W. Seaver Jr. and Sara Joanne (Joan) Ericson were married April 26, 1948.

Their children -- Linda and John Hart, of Springfield Mo., Bill and Sheila Seaver, of Kansas City, Kan., Carl and June Seaver, of Fort Scott, Kan., Donna and Dale Snyder, of Fulton, Kan., eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren -- held a family get-together on the couple's anniversary, Saturday, April 26, in Joplin, Mo., at Ryan's restaurant.
