Wal--Mart meets goal, donates to school

Wal--Mart, in conjuction with Frito--Lay, presented a gift card to Fort Scott Middle School in the amount of $500. This award was the result of a contest sponsored by Frito--Lay.

Each Wal--Mart store was given a sales increase goal for Lay's products as part of a back to school promotion. Those stores that reached or exceeded the goal received a check for $500 to be placed on a gift card and given to the school of Wal--Mart's choice to use for supplies or other items. Fort Scott Middle School was the recipient, having had their school drawn randomly from a list of area schools.

The associates of the Fort Scott Wal--Mart are very proud to be able to give this award to the school.
