Memorial service for Bonnie M. McCall, 72, Eudora, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Ft. Scott National Cemetery.
Mrs. McCall was born on July 4, 1935 in Kansas City, Kans., the daughter Roy P. and Velma Mae Carter Foster.
She grew up in Kansas City, Kans. In 1969 she moved to McClouth, Kans., and then to Lawrence, Kans., where she worked for several years at King Radio. After retirement she moved to Redfield, Kans.
She was a life member of Auxiliary #852 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Lawrence, where she was Past President and Past Treasurer. She was also Past President of Second District to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
She married Delbert Monroe on May 27, 1975 in Miami, Okla. He preceded her in death on November 20, 2003.
Survivors include three daughters, Cindy Saler and husband, Mark, Topeka, Alice Stith, Eudora, Charlene Gibbens, Bonner Springs; one son, Stephen Lee, Eudora; five grandsons; two granddaughters and one great grandson.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
