Hilton and Carolyn Claspill were married on April 7, 1958 in Topeka. They were high school sweethearts in Fort Scott and have lived in Tecumseh the last 36 years.

The Claspills have one daughter, Cheryl Foss, living in Omaha, Neb.; and a granddaughter Sarah, married to Patrick Hodgson, Manhattan, Kan. She and her husband are parents to Gavin and Gwendolynne.

Their son Dexter II and his wife Wilma have three boys. Troy has Aaliyah and then Troy and Trinity have Destiny and Lilly. Nick is 19 years old and lives at home. Tony Wilson is father to Alyssa.

Hilton worked for 38 years for DuPont/Flexel and then at Harrah's Prarie Band Casino until 2004.

Carolyn worked 17 years for Mainline Printing.

There will be a covered dish luncheon on April 13, 2008, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Garfield Shelter House, 1600 NE Quincy Street, Topeka.
